During juried 【Hong Kong International Jewellery Show】held from March 2 (Thu.) to 6 (Mon.), 2017, Kuwayama entered its work "Rhythm" (designer: Natsumi Ohdate) and won the top honor as the "Champion of the Champions" in the International Jewellery Design Excellence Award.

Before that, "Rhythm" had already received several honorable prizes, such as three awards including Tokyo Governor Award at JJA2015 in Japan; and the Grand Prize in the Platinum category of the COUTURE Design Award in 【The COUTURE Show Wynn Lasvegas】held in the U.S.A. in 2016 where Kuwayama earned international acclaim for its design capability and technology in this one of the most prominent jewellery exhibitions in the world.
Subsequently this time, by receiving the top honor in the International Jewellery Design Excellence Award at 【Hong Kong International Jewellery Show】, Kuwayama further demonstrated its design capability and technology to the world.

【Hong Kong International Jewellery Show】is one of the largest jewellery shows in the world that attracts as many as 2,500 exhibitors including top brands, manufacturers and designers and 50,000 visitors from around the world.
Only jewellery works that have already won one or more official awards in any part of the world are eligible to enter the International Jewellery Design Excellence Award.
From among these entries, finalists are selected and thereafter the award-winning works are determined through strict and impartial review.
This time eight finalists were selected from 165 entries, and as a result of the final selection, "Rhythm" received the top honor as the Champion of the Champions at the award ceremony held on March 02 (Thu.).
